growing up, my grandfather taught me a lot about family, life, and business. one thing that always stuck with me was how focused he was on customer experience. i believe that a user experience should be easy. users shouldn't need to dig around for information they want. it should be presented to them in a clean and simple manner that looks beautiful on their phone, tablet, and desktop computer.
a website should just work, no matter what the device. that's why i build my websites with a mobile first responsive framework. designing for mobile first helps keep the focus on the core content and functionality. this leaves space as screen size increases, keeping everything clean and simple. responsive means that the site will "respond" to the screen size it's being rendered on. the user will see a website that has been optimized down to the pixel to be the most beautiful experience for that screen.
